Don’t Miss Calypso Fest on October 23
Please note that our earlier announced date of our annual Curtis Cellar Crew Calypso Fest of October 16 has been moved to October 23. But while the date has changed, the mission remains the same—to throw the most colorful wine party of the season. This year we will be introducing an Oktoberfest theme, complete with German-inspired food and live music by polka band Trio Internationale. We’re still cooking up the fun, but a grape stomp and sausage eating contest are among the likely festivities. The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the Firestone family’s West Ranch just up the hill from our winery. Our fourth Cellar Crew offering of 2010 will begin shipping on September 27. The featured wines are the 2007 Syrah from Ambassador's Vineyard and the 2009 Heritage Blanc. You will dig these wines. The Heritage Blanc is an affordable stunner, while the Syrah is perfect for hearty autumn fare. Registered pick-up members may now pick up their wine at our tasting room.
