Introduction

 

Why Rhônes? Because they are an alternative to the beaten path. Because they are delicious as well as different. And because they are so perfectly suited to the Santa Ynez Valley, the sun-drenched, fog-kissed place that we call home.

 

Here, we put down roots as one of California’s first wineries dedicated exclusively to Rhône-style wines. Since then, nothing has changed. We still live for Rhônes.

 

Our specialties are Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and Roussanne, which we complement with a trio of lively blends. Under the guidance of Winemaker Chuck “Calypso” Carlson, we craft our wines in a fruit-forward style, with an emphasis on capturing the pure natural flavors of the vineyard and the vintage.
